Hello! My name is Lisa Guthrie. I have lived in Lava for 40 years with my husband Alvin. We have 3 daughters, 2 sons-in-law, and 11 awesome grandchildren.

I have loved working for Lava Elementary for 32 years. I have worked with Title One helping students who need extra help with their learning. I love working with children and seeing their eyes light up when learning new concepts.

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I love to watch my grandchildren as they participate in sports that they are interested in doing. I love to go camping, reading, and visiting Disneyland with a group of friends.

I am very excited to be working with the amazing staff of Lava Hot Springs Academy. I believe that all children can be successful with their learning. I can’t wait to be a part of this wonderful community of learning.
