Enrollment at Lava Hot Springs Academy
Applications for Lava Hot Springs Academy are submitted through our online enrollment system. Applications for the 2026–2027 school year enrollment lottery are accepted through March 15, 2026.
The enrollment lottery will take place on campus March 20 at 9:00 AM. The lottery process typically takes about 15 minutes. Families are welcome to attend in person or watch via Facebook Live.

The Application Process
Applying is quick and takes just a few minutes.
- Click the “Apply” link to access our SchoolMint portal and create a login.
- Indicate that you would like your child to attend Lava Hot Springs Academy.
- Select your preferred communication method (text or email) to receive enrollment updates.
Enrollment Lottery
A random priority enrollment lottery will be conducted to determine which students fill available seats.
If your child is selected in the lottery, you will receive a notification by email and/or text with instructions to accept the enrollment offer and complete registration.
Students who are not selected will be placed on a waitlist, and the order of the waitlist will also be randomly determined.
Waitlists
If space becomes available, students will be admitted from the waitlist in order. Parents will be notified and given instructions for completing enrollment.
Applications for students on the waitlist will remain active for the entire school year.
Enrollment After the Lottery
Families who miss the March 15 application deadline may still apply.
Students who apply after the lottery will:
- Be enrolled immediately if space is available
OR - Be placed on a waitlist and admitted as seats become available.
Waitlists often change between the time the lottery is held and when school begins in August, so we encourage families to apply as soon as they become interested and remain optimistic about enrollment opportunities.
