Randy Benglan

Board Chair

Randy Benglan is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with over two decades of experience in real estate development, finance, and business operations.

Taralyn Christensen

Secretary

Taralyn Christensen was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. She has lived in several other states including Utah and Massachusetts for a short period, but always has felt that Idaho was home.

Yvette Cadeaux

Vice Chair

Yvette Cadeaux is a former K-12 teacher, currently pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Instructional Design and Technology.

Kolleen DeGraff

After 27 years in education in Utah, Kolleen retired to Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. At the time, Marsh Valley School District wanted to close the local Lava elementary.

Bryan Grant

Bryan is a husband, father of two sons, and resident of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. He is the Fish Hatcheries Supervisor in Eastern Idaho for the Idaho Department of Fish.

Megan Reno

Passionate Advocate for Education, Community Involvement, and Culture through Collaboration | Driving Force for Integrity, Innovation, Inclusiveness and Intentional Positive Impacts.

Brenda N.

Brenda is a Board Certified Licensed Massage Therapist and Holistic Healer dedicated to guiding individuals towards optimal well-being by addressing their physical.

Upcoming Meetings

Regular Board Meeting Dates from March 2025-May 2026

1. Regular board meetings will be held the first Monday of each month at 7pm at the Lava Hot Springs Academy building. If the first Monday falls on a holiday, the regular meeting will fall on the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm at the Lava Hot Springs Academy building.

2. It would be helpful to have agenda items submitted to the secretary 5-7 days prior to the regularly scheduled meeting. If there could also be any information/documents that board members would like to include in the board member meeting packet, please send it along with the agenda request.
